Reforms in Election Commission will be Meaningful only if Political Parties go through Reforms, says a Dhaka Editor

As the interim government in Bangladesh has barred Sheikh Hasina , the former Prime Minister from entering Bangladesh and is trying to banish the Immediate Past Prime Minister Khaleda Zia , their respective political parties are likely to be confronted with problems.

In an interview with this correspondence in Dhaka, Golam Sarwar the Editor of Daily Jugantor thinks that the crisis will increase because of the willingness to come to the new trend of politics amongst some political leaders belonging to either side of the fence.

Sarwar thinks that reforms in the political parties must take place and that in the absence of old leaders , new leaders will emerge from both the parties.

Golam Sarwar says that the members of both political parties are willing to make reforms. He thinks that reforms in the election commission will not be meaningful unless there are reforms in the political parties themselves.
