The Election Commission opened a series of dialogue on Thursday by holding talks with eminent personalities to seek their opinion on draft proposals for electoral law reforms.
The EC has invited as many as 60 individuals including former military and civil bureaucrats, former chief election commissioners, educationalists and NGO personalities to attend the talks.
Chief Election Commissioner A.T.M. Shamsul Huda said at the meeting with civil society leaders that no electoral reforms would be implemented without talking to political parties.
