The US military says seven more US soldiers have been killed in Iraq, raising the death toll since Friday to 15.
Officials say six soliders -- along with an interpreter -- were killed by a roadside bomb in western Baghdad Saturday. Another bomb killed the seventh American soldier south of the capital.
The US military said on Sunday coalition forces killed eight suspected al-Qaida-linked terrorists and detained 34 in overnight raids. In Baghdad, a car bomb killed at least two people.
Meanwhile, US and Iraqi troops are continuing to search for three American soldiers kidnapped a week ago in Iraq. Military officials say they believe at least two of the soliders are still alive.
