Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam has been widely seen as the poet of the mankind who celebrates the victory of humanity in all its form and dimension.
Primarily known as a Rebel poet, Nazrul is also a poet of unity and harmony. The concepts of conflict and contradictions which Nazrul displays in many of his works are apparent only because there is an undercurrent of unity and harmony in Nazrul’s works .
In this special tribute to Nazrul, we have highlighted those undercurrents in Nazrul’s poems and lyrics in the poet’s own voice recorded as far back as in 1928 and also in the voice of his son Kazi Sabyasachi . The presenters of this program were Roquia Haider and Anis Ahmed.
