Awami League (AL) General Secretary Abdul Jalil said on Sunday that his party is sinceely thinking of brining in reforms. He added that they are ready to cooperate with the caretaker government in this regard.
Jalil said that these things may not be possible for an elected to government for different reasons so if the present caretaker government wants to take care of the political reforms they are prepare to assist the government in order to strengthen democracy.
Addressing the journalists Abdul Jalil said that Awami League has sent letters to some foreign missions in order to know how political parties in those countries receive government funds.
He added that once the ban on politics is lifted they would discuss proposals on reforming their party.
