Bangladeshi authorities have revived a corruption case against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, the leader of the Awami League political party.
The High Court on Tuesday set a hearing date for August first. Its move is part of a government crackdown on alleged corruption.
Hasina expressed her reaction and said that the government is taking these steps including arresting politicians is to distract people from the sufferings and dissatisfaction.
