A Rajshahi court on Wednesday sent Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor and former BNP lawmaker Mizanur Rahman Minu to jail rejecting his bail petition.
Minu appeared before the court to secure bail in an extortion case filed earlier against him. The court rejected his request and sent him to jail.
