Authorities in Bangladesh say suspected tribal rebels have kidnapped two Bangladeshi nationals in the southeast.
Officials say an employee of the Danish International Development Agency or Danida and his driver were seized late Monday near the town of Thanchi.
Authorities have started a search for the missing men.
Tribal insurgents in southeastern Bangladesh fought for self-rule for more than two decades. The majority of the rebels signed a peace agreement in 1997, but those opposed to the deal continue to fight in the region.
