Incessant rains in Dhaka have paralyzed life in the capital city of Bangladesh.
It has inundated many areas of the capital, grounding vehicles on the street and forcing residents to stay indoors while swelling rivers flooded parts of Bangladesh marooning thousands overnight. Constant rain and flooded streets created traffic jam with hundreds of vehicles going out of order while thousands were forced to stay indoors.
According to Meteorological office 137 mm downpour was recorded in the 12 hours until 6 pm local time in the city.
