At least one person was killed and hundreds were injured as violence broke out across Bangladesh for the 3rd day on Wednesday.
Students of different colleges and universities across the country came out on streets and clashed with police.
A rickshaw-puller was killed and more than 50 students were injured when around 2000 students marched through the Rajshahi University (RU) campus demanding withdrawal of law enforcers from the campus and protesting Dhaka University incident. Police used rubber bullets and hurled around 600 tear gas shells in a bid to disperse the unruly students who were pelting policemen with brickbats, leaving the rickshaw-puller dead.
The clashes between police and students across the country occurred when police tried to resist the demonstrating students.
