The business leaders from Bangladesh Garments Manufacturing and Exporting Association (BGMEA) have demanded from the government for establishing a new Ministry for textile and readymade garments.
The President and the officials of the BGMEA placed there demands in a news conference in Dhaka.
The President of BGMEA mentioned the immense possibility of the garments sector and said if adequate and appropriate measures are taken, the yearly earnings on the export of garments can nearly be doubled.
