Syed Mohammadullah came to the United States in 1974 for first time when he was the Editor of Eastern News Agency (ENA).
He also covered the speech of the founding father of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the UN General Assembly. Later, he came to the US permanently in 1976 and published a Bengali Weekly PROBASHI.
