Dr. ABM Nasir is the Assistant Professor and Lead Faculty of Economics at School of Business at North Carolina Central University in USA. He is also the NCCU Campus NRC Director for North Carolina Center for South Asian Studies.
Dr. Nasir was also a Visiting Faculty, Department of Economics, North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the summer of 2006.
In this interview with Voice of America Dr. Nasir spoke about the factors responsible for the slowing down of the economy in Bangladesh and the rising prices of daily commodities. Dr. Nasir a research scholar on Bangladesh economy also gives some remedies to overcome the problems that Bangladesh is facing today.
