Chief Minister of West Bengal Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on Wednesday transferred Police Commissioner Prasun Mukherjee, two deputy commissioners of police Gyanwant Singh and Ajay Kumar and two officers of the anti-rowdy squad for their role in the Rizwanur Rehman case.
The action against the police officers comes a day after the Calcutta High Court ordered a CBI probe into the case.
