In Kolkata, India, Central Bureau of Investigation officials on Monday questioned Pradip Todi, brother of industrialist Ashok Todi and the main accused in the murder of the computer graphics teacher Rizwanur Rahman. Rizwan’s body was found on railway tracks following his marriage to the daughter of the businessman.
Meanwhile, the seven-member team of the CBI which arrived in Kolkata on Friday night to investigate into the suspicious death of 27-year-old Rizwanur, on the directive of the Kolkata High Court on October 16, started examining different aspects of the case.
A two-member CBI team also went to Arena Multimedia, where Rizwanur used to work as a teacher, today and spoke to his students and colleagues. He had met Priyanka as his student there.
Rizwanur, after marrying the daughter of businessman Ashok Todi on August 18, was found dead on September 21. The death caused a public outcry leading the state government to remove five police officers, including the Commissioner and two Deputy Commissioners.
