A Conference on South Asia held at NCCU


The South Asia Conference , held at North Carolina Central University was jointly organized by the School of Business at NCCU , North Carolina Center for South Asia Studies and Association of Economic & Development Studies on Bangladesh.

The conference addressed the underlying causes of crisis in democratic and governmental institutions and religious intolerances besetting the three largest countries in the region , Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Key note lectures were given by the academics and experts from different universities and a public forum was addressed by M Humayun Kabir, the Ambassador of Bangladesh and M Aslam Khan , the Deputy Chief of Mission of Pakistan Embassy.
