Lameya Ahmed is one of those exceptional high school students from amongst the Bangladeshi-American community who have taken interests both in curricular and extra curricular activities.
Recently, as a team leader from her school, in NBC, television’s quiz program , Lameya has proved her worth. Lameya is a very serious student. She has taken some advance courses and as a result her GPA score is 4.3 which is higher than average GPA score.
This twelfth grader is now applying for her undergraduate programs at Harvard, MIT and Yale universities. She wants to become a doctor and therefore she is going for a pre-med program. In addition to her studies,
Lameya is involved in several social organization. She is the president of Red Cross in her school. They have raised fund to fight against Aids and to help people in Darfur Sudan. She is also the president of National Honor’s Society in which they discuss ways and means of developing their school.
