Police in Kolkata tightened security at Eden Gardens after an e-mail was sent threatening blasts during the India-Pakistan Test match. The match is to begin on November 30th.
Eden Gardens turned into a veritable fortress Monday night as over 60 policemen combed the venue and guarded all the entry and exit points of the stadium.
The top police officials held a marathon meeting Monday night to finalize the security arrangements. Kolkata Police Commissioner Gautam Mohan Chakraborty chaired the meeting.
