Dr Pradip Ranjan Kar is a bio-medical research specialist in the Rockefeller University in New York . Dr Kar , who originally comes from Bangladesh , takes keen interests on community development. He wants to create awareness amongst the Bengali Diaspora in New York and elsewhere in the USA.
With this objective in his mind, Dr Pradip Kar has initiated an organization named American Bang;adeshi Community Development Initiative (ABCDI) . The organization has held series of seminars on topics important to Bangladeshi Diaspora in order to make them aware of the happenings in Bangladesh as well as about their interests in the community related matters here in the USA .
