Visiting United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Kemal Dervis said he is fully confident that the stalled national election in Bangladesh would be held in time - by the end of this year.
He said he expects the election will be fair and good. He spoke at a news briefing at the VIP lounge of the Zia International Airport in Dhaka prior to his departure.
Mr. Dervis was in Bangladesh for three days. The UNDP chief said everybody would have to make sure that this election brings the country together.
