Visiting Asian Development Bank (ADB) Director General for South Asia Kunio Senga has assured Bangladesh of support, to tackle the country's vulnerable food situation.
He told reporters that ADB will closely monitor the situation and would be ready to help the government in any manner. He made the comments after a meeting with Finance and Planning Adviser Dr Mirza Azizul Islam. The ADB director general arrived in Dhaka on Sunday night on a three-day official visit to Bangladesh.
