Supreme Court Bar Association has rescheduled its election date following an understanding between the organization and the government. The election will be held on April 28th and 29th.
Earlier, the election of the Bar Association was scheduled for Monday but it was postponed when Dhaka Metropolitan Police ordered the Association to refrain from holding the elections. Under existing Emergency Power Rules the Association has to get prior permission for holding election.
