The proceedings of a graft case against detained former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were stopped on Thursday, as journalists continued to boycott the courtroom protesting rough treatment by police.
Hasina said in the court room that she will not get fair judgment from the court because she thought it was in effect a camera trial.
Hasina’s lawyers refused to participate in the hearing while the journalists were not there. After the government has apologized for it , the hearing started. The former Prime Minister is charged with taking bribery worth thirty million taka.
