Authorities in Bangladesh say 18 people died and at least 30 others were injured when a train rammed into a bus in the north of the country.
The accident took place at a railway crossing in Tangail district. All of the dead were bus passengers. Local officials say the injured have been taken to hospitals.
The Associated Press reports the bus was taking weavers to a local market to sell garments. It says the train finished its journey in the capital, Dhaka, a few hours after the accident.
