A new election research center was inaugurated in the Indian state of West Bengal. The center would be known as the Center for Psephological Studies.
This is for the first time in West Bengal that a vote research center is being build up. The Center would be established at Rabindra Bharati University. This center would scientifically research on different aspects of voting and the impact of votes.
Although there is a similar research center in the Indian capital New Delhi but it is said that the Kolkata center will be more modern and up to date.
