Journalist Syed Mohammadullah Assess Campaign Situation Before Tuesday’s Primaries


U.S. Democratic Party presidential rivals Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are making a final push for support on Monday, the eve of key primaries in the states of Indiana and North Carolina.

Syed Mohammadullah, an eminent journalist in New York, in an interview with Voice of America’s Bangla Service, assessed and opined on the current campaign situation.

Mr. Mohammadullah spoke about the Reverend Jeremiah Wright controversy that dogged Obama campaign for the last month, Clinton’s call for a temporary suspension of federal gasoline taxes and “perception “of pandering to voters, whether Democrats will be able to unite after the negative campaigns etcetera.
