Former PM of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif Speaks About Pakistan’s Political Situation


In an interview with Voice of America’s Urdu Service the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and head of the Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz Sharif, has said that his party had decided to quit the coalition government but that it does not mean that the party will play any part in destabilizing the Peoples Party led government at the Center.

He observed that "power is not the end of the world".

He underscored that an independent judiciary is the lifeline of any nation adding that he thinks the "reinstatement of the judges deposed by Pervez Musharraf is a national duty".
