Transparency International, Bangladesh has said that the corruption continues unabated, like it did during the political government, during this military backed interim government in Bangladesh. The Chairman of TIB Professor Muzaffar Ahmed said that he has no hesitations in saying that lack of good governance prevails in the country. He said that petty corruptions have increased during the present regime.
TIB's report for 2007 was published in Dhaka on Wednesday. The Executive Director of TIB Dr Iftekharuzzaman said that the report gives a mixed picture but on the average the corruption in Bangladesh continues.
