Subash Ghisingh, the Darjeeling Hills supremo for the last
decades, faces expulsion from the Hills by angry political opponents. He is
being removed to an army camp for security.
Darjeeling flared up on Friday
after a bullet from the house of a Ghising supporter killed an activist of
his rival body, Gorkha Jana Mukti Morcha.
The supporter`s house was put on fire
by the agitated mob and he was arrested by police. Morcha leader, Bimal Gurung
demanded Ghising`s expulsion at a press conference.
