Bangladesh Election Commission said that the Commission will announce very soon the schedules for holding polls for upazila parishads and Dhaka City Corporation.
Election commission has finalized the voter list of Dhaka city corporation area and contemplating to hold the city corporation election by October.
Election commission Secretary Humayun Kabir told newsmen that commission is going ahead with its plan to hold 300 to 350 upazila (sub district) chairman election in October.
Meanwhile Sylhet mayor Badruddin Kamran was released on bail.
