Pakistani officials say an explosion has killed at least 11 people and
wounded more than 35 others at a mosque in northern Pakistan.

In other news, Pakistani tribal leaders say at least one high-level
al-Qaida operative was killed in Monday's suspected U.S. air strike in
Tribal leaders say four Arab militants, including one known as Abu
Haris, died in the attack in the North Waziristan tribal region. They
say Abu Haris, an Egyptian, lived in Pakistan for decades and had
become al-Qaida's top coordinator in the North West Frontier Province.
