W .Najmee Ali Khan is the Regional Manager of Program Support from CARE, Bangladesh. He works in Bangladesh's port city Chittagong . Recently he came to the USA on the state's department's visitor's program.
During this visit Mr Khan joined in discussions and seminars in different states of the USA on Disaster Management and Mitigation . He also visited several projects on disaster management.
In this exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service Najmee Ali Khan said that in those seminars he talked about cyclone SIDR in Bangladesh which hit the country last November and the US assistance which the country received.
