Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama clashed in
their third and final U.S. presidential debate over campaign tactics, the
economic crisis, and other domestic issues. Other topics included abortion, the
federal budget, energy, and improving education and access to healthcare.
The U.S. financial troubles dominated the start of the
90-minute debate on Wednesday at Hofstra University in New York.
