Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah is Chairman of the National Election Observation Council (JANIPOP) in Bangladesh and Chairman of the Department of Public Administrations in Dhaka University.
In this exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service, Dr Kalimullah talks about the role of his organization in the upcoming parliamentary election in Bangladesh. He discusses some the observations until now, mentions some complaints, worries, objections and anxieties.
He also points out a few vulnerable factors in the upcoming election although he says that until this point there has not been any major untoward incident and he agrees that there is no debate on voter list from which more than 100,000 false voter names were eliminated.
