Government in Bangladesh has formed a national task force with ministers, politicians, experts and businessmen to tackle the impact of ongoing world economic recession on Bangladesh’s economy and business.
Finance Minister A MA Muhith told journalists that he is expecting the impact of recession on Bangladesh in a few months.
In an interview with Voice of America, Dr Mustafizur Rahman, one of the members of the newly formed, 27 members national task force analyzed the impact of recession on Bangladesh’s economy and business. He said that already the economy is facing
newer challenges of the impact of the global economic downturn which includes power shortage and foreign direct investment.
