Bangladesh Law Minister Shafiq Ahmed in an exclusive interview with Bangla Service said that the Bangladesh government is waiting for the final investigation report of the BDR Mutiny to decide in which court the suspects will be tried.
He says if the BDR members acted alone then they can be tried under military court. However, if it is found that others besides BDR members were involved then government will think other alternatives.
In any case, all the accused persons will get a chance to defend themselves. At least 59 Army officers were killed during the February 25 mutiny.
