Gujrat chief minister, Narendra Modi has suddenly emerged as the main contender for the prime minister`s post in the next general election.
With the present contender Advani being rather old, Modi is already being discussed in the party. Similarly, Rahul Gandhi is the next candidate from the Congress side.
It is widely thought that the next poll, in 2014, is .likely to be fought between NarendraModi and Rahul Gandhi for the top job.
