Dr. Amiya Chaudhuri is one of the top psephologists in India and a Fellow of Maulana A.K. Azad Institute of South Asian Studies, Kolkata.
In an interview with Voice of America, Dr. Chaudhuri said that the number of parties in a coalition might be very large and it will not be a solid coalition. He expects that there might be another Lok Shabha election in two years.
Dr. Chaudhuri expects the Communist Party in West Bengal to lose effectiveness and it will be reflected in the state Assembly election in 2011.
