Dr Salim Zabir, currently based in Tokyo, manages research
on E-Health for a multinational telecom company.
He believes information and communication technology (ICT)
can improve people's living standard significantly in developing countries.
In the context of Bangladesh, sectors like governance and
agriculture can benefit from increased use of ICT and ensure efficient service
as a result.
He completed his major from BUET in computer science and
engineering and did his PhD in computer networking and network protocols.
