Fazlul Haque, Country Director of Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC), the world's largest NGO spoke to VOA about the election in Afghanistan.
BRAC has Education and Micro-Financing programs in Afghanistan.
In a two-way discussion Fazlul Haque gave details about Afghan voting in different areas, saying, the voter turnout was more in Northern areas than South or South-Eastern areas, due to Taliban threat or Taliban activities.
BRAC operates in Kabul, Kandahar, Mazari Sharif, and some other places and has almost 4 thousand workers, all over Afghanistan.
