Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina is in New York attending the current session of United Nations’ General Assembly.
On the sidelines she met with other leaders and head of states.
The Prime Minister attended a luncheon meeting hosted by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton early Thursday. The reception was in honor of the female heads of states and governments and foreign ministers.
On Thursday, the Prime Minister attended meetings with businessmen and investors. She asked US investors to consider Bangladesh as their next Asian investment destination. She noted that her country's economy proved shock-resistant amid the global economic meltdown.
