Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bangladesh police has taken formerstate minister for home of last BNP government, Lutfuzzaman Babar into custody for week long questioning about August 21, 2004 grenade attack on a Awami League rally in Dhaka.
A Dhaka court allowed seven days remand so that CID can question him.
