UN Economist Dr. Nazrul Islam is a Global Coordinator for Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN).
In this interview he talks about the upcoming Dhaka Environment Conference to be held in Bangladesh capital on 3rd & 4th of January 2010.The two day conference will be attended by NRB residents from various countries of the world and also delegates from SAARC countries.
The conference will be addressed by BD Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and in the closing session, main Bangladeshi opposition leader Begum Khaleda Zia will address the gathering. T
he Dhaka Declaration to be drawn at the end of the conference will be concluded on the basis of Copenhagen accord and will have references to the 16th Global Climate conference to be held by the end of 2010 in Mexico.
