Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh addressed the nation on
the occasion of the Awami League-led government reaching the end of one year in
power. She said the fact that her party had a landslide victory shows that they
have the public’s trust.
She addressed the problem of the political culture of today and pledged
to make sure that there is more positivity in politics and less corruption
overall. She urged the opposition party to forget personal interests and join
