Manik Sarkar, Chief Minister of Tripura, said that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina’s trip to India will be beneficial for Tripura. He has invited Sheikh Hasina to make a trip to Tripura as well.
He said that he was present at the grand luncheon given by India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for Sheikh Hasina. Their meetings promise positive results regarding the increase of trade between India and Bangladesh. He believes that the border areas will benefit from this. The Bangladeshi Prime Minister’s eventful trip to India seems to affect most of the Indian subcontinent and the world in general.
