Economists, politicians and political scientists all are still concerned about the economic situation of USA.
In an interview with Voice of America’s Bangla Service, Dr. Hasan Imam, former economist from The World Bank and former Special Advisor on Public Finance, Republic of Namibia spoke about the current economic situation of the United States.
Dr. Hasan Imam said it takes time for the economy to change. He believes that the US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke who is going to testify in Congress on Wednesday and Thursday on the economy, has done a good job and will continue to do so. He said developed countries should open their markets to help the economies of developing nations.
