On Thursday James F Moriarty, United States Ambassador to Bangladesh said that his government will provide Bangladesh 210 million dollars to address the problems of food security amongst the poorest people of Bangladesh. He was addressing a seminar in Dhaka.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) works with the government of Bangladesh with the purpose of improving food management and food security policies. Their programs have helped ensure public food programs and supplies were given to those most in need. James F. Moriarty and USAID are currently working on improving food security policy development and implementation in Bangladesh.
