Dhaka , the capital of Bangladesh , with a population of ten milion people is facing a severe public transport problem. As a consequence of banning two-stroke engineed scooters for environmental reasons and the shortage of four stroke engineed CNG driven scooters , people in Dhaka are having terrible problem in commuting. Taxi fare have gone up unreasonably and the taxi drivers are refusing to use meters.
The problem of commuting has further taken a severe shape with the increase of petroleum prices in Bangladesh. The prices of many goods and services have gone up. The capital was in chaos on Monday.
