Pakistani police say unknown gunmen have killed two Shi'ite Muslims in Karachi in an apparent act of sectarian violence.
The two Iranian immigrants were shot dead today (Thursday) at the bakery they ran in the city's center. The killings follow the massacre of nine Shi'ites at a Karachi mosque on Saturday.
The Associated Press reports that assailants shot and killed a Sunni Muslim cleric in a separate incident in the city.
Fighting between Sunni and Shi'ite militants in Pakistan has claimed hundreds of lives in recent years.
