While the finance minister of Bangladesh M Saifur Rahman , in a post budget press conference on Friday , was upbeat about the proposed budget , there has been mixed reactions amongst various sections of people.Some praised the ambitious budget while others expressed doubts about its implementation. Islamist groups in Bangladesh have expressed their deep dissatisfaction on governments proposal to reduce taxes on wine and liquor calling it unislamic.
